Open Hub on Remote Cube? Feasible? Performance?

Hello Gurus,whats your opinion for using a Remote Cube, which is connected to an exported datasource of an ODS object, as open hub source?We can easily adjust / add necessary fields via comm structure and transfer rules and would avoid to code a BAdI (if using the Open hub on top of the ODS).Yeah, I know it is not the straightforward way (open hub on top of ODS, using a BAdI for conversions and adding fields) but wondering if it is nevertheless feasible.What are your thoughts regarding that way? Especially regarding performance (also in comparison to using the straightforward way with a BAdI). Thanks.

No opinions?I am also playing with the idea to use the RC to aggregate the data of an ODS. E.g. you have in the ODS records with key company code, docnumber and you would like to aggregate the data on company code for a extract, that is not possible with an open hub, or? You will get a lot of records and not only the aggregated / cummulated amounts per company code. 查看原帖>>
