i'm glad to hear that you want to learn about Chinese traditional festivals. It's very honorable for me to introduce them to you, my friend.
Let's start with the Lantern. The Festival of Lanterns takes place at the end of the Chinese New Year Celebration, on the fifteenth day of the first moon. On that day, people, especially children, will walk around with a lantern in hand. And they'll have Tong Yuen as a sweet snack. The round shape of Tong Yuen is a symbol of gathering.
And here it comes the Mid-autumn Festival which is usually in September or October. It's the day when the moon is brighter and rounder than any other time in the whole year. On that day, people often play firecrackers,have mooncakes and of course, watch the fullmoon which also means family getting together.
My favourite one is the Mid-autumn. The fullmoon is just so beautiful and amazing. Plus,I can never get enough those delicious mooncakes. Ha ha.
There are still plenty festivals of China, we will talk about them later. I'm sure you will love them.

Hello.I am writing to tell you about the two traditional Chinese festivals,the Chinese New Year and the Mid-autumn Festival.Take the Chinese New Year for example,it's the first day of the first lunar month,but the holidays last for fifteen days.During the Chinese New Year,all the family members meet at home and have a big meal which is called Tuanyuanfan in Chinese.Parents give lucky money to their children on the Eve night.People especially children play firecrackers.They go to see their relatives and friends.And the Mid-autumn Festival,which is the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month,is another important festival in China.People eat mooncakes for it.But the holiday is far shorter than the Chinese New Year.I prefer the Chinese New Year,for I can get lucky money and have a long holiday.

Last time you asked me about festivals in China,now I'm writing to answer your questions.There're two festival I love the most.On the date 1.January,people eat sweet dumplings to celebrate.Families are usualy getting together that day,they play firecrackers,and elder ones give children lucky money.And another day is lunar 15.August.I love it because there are always mooncakes to eat.They are delicious.You could have a try if you want.
