意思是：今年的英语演讲比赛非常的激烈，所以参赛者主要是要经验的学生。

是定语从句
不选D主要是因为它是省略形式:
Liu Xiang is the first Chinese athlete (Iwho is )winning a title in track event at the Olympics.
表示正在进行时才能这样用。
很明显这句话不表示正在进行。

3.选A
千万记住how不引导定语从句，一旦the way 做先行词只可以选用in which、that、不填关系代词。

因为句子中没有人作主语，所以when she heard有人作主语。
