Nowadays it has become a prevailing trend for many parents to send their kids to art classes. If we take a look around,we can find examples too many to list. However, people's attitudes toward this phenomenon differ sharply.
Some think that sending children to art classes is very beneficial, because it can develop their interest in art. Besides,this practice can make children's spare time colorful and help them learn more knowledge. Others,however,point out that sending children to art classes not always turns out useful for it occupies too much of their spare time. Children need more time to communicate with others and learn how to get along with other people. Furthermore,attending art classes is not necessarily beneficial to all children,because different children have his/her own characters and talents. It will take time for the kids and their parents to dig them out,but attending art classes is not the only way.
In my opinion,we should not go to extremes.On the one hand, it is admitted that sending kids to art classes is an effective way to encouge them to learn more knowledge.On the other hand, it should not cost them too much time, so as to enable them to get more spare time to develop themselves.
