A good reason to give is to increase good will among people. Usually people like to repay the kindness by doing something nice in return. Helping others is good for the society. We all have various needs. Sometimes it is very difficult to meet those needs by ourselves. It would be good if we can ask others for help. If others need us at another time, then we should help them as well. The future is quite unpredictable. It is difficult to know in advance if we have troubles. So we should have good relationships with others so we can count on them if we need them.
