My nameis Wu Yixuan. I am 11 years old, and I am a fifth grade student.
I have many hobbies. I like drawing and I can drawvery well, which get a lot of praise from my teachers and friends. I likesports, such as dancing, skating, biking and playing badminton. I often play badmintonwith my sisters and we have a great fun together. I love music, especially thepop music, which makes me feel relax. I love English, too. I hope I can travelall over the world one day.
I have manyfriends. I often study and play with Ke Jingqi and Zhu Si huai. Sometimes, wego to bookstore or supermarket together. We are so happy when we are together. Ilove my friends and they love me, too.

Martin Luther King had a dream — it was to have justice for all people. Lincoln had a dream — it was to set the slaves free. They sought their dreams and ultimately made them come true. When I was young, I saw a dog one day. I threw a stone at it just for fun. Then it fell down and looked very weak. At that moment, I was surprised to notice it was pregnant. I can’t remember what happened next, but there’s one thing I know: that I felt guilty. It was the first time that I found life
could so easily pass away. At that time, I had a dream, which was to help those people who needed help. There are too many wars and disasters. About 16,000 people have died in the Iraq War and one child dies every eight seconds in Africa because of starvation. I have dreams, you have dreams and they have dreams too. We should help them. We should save their lives so that they can pursue their own dreams. Just like the lyric of a song says, “We are the ones who make a brighter day so let’s start giving.” Well, that’s my dream, a simple but meaningful one.

The topic of my speech today is protecting the environment.
Environmental protection is everyones responsibility, no matter how social development, humans have to admit a fact, that is the nature is the mother of mankind, we breath the air, drink every drop of water, cannot leave the nature. The planet that man lives on is earth.
But, human like a greedy child, you want to ask for, regardless of the return, so that now environment is scarred, events, the injured will be us humans...
Look! If you dont protect the environment, mother nature will also be angry, and 5.12 earthquake in 2008, for example, Japans earthquake, debris flow disasters, etc., in the process, how many people lost their loved ones, lost incalculable property, this is not the nature of human punishment?
Our eyes are full of amazing stories. The little trees by the side of the road are broken, the grass is trampled and the flowers are picked. Are they not hurt? Deforestation, unrestrained mining resources. Thats what people do. They do nothing to destroy the ecological balance. As primary school students, we should start by being around and start small. Protect the plants and trees, dont litter, use disposable chopsticks, do your part.
