国际优秀的商业银行都非常注重金融创新,例如,花旗银行就十分强调创新,不断推出新的金融产品和新的服务方式,以满足客户的各式要求。但从目前国内商业银行开展个人金融业务的情况来看,各行对于如何根据市场的变化和客户的需要推出适销对路的新产品考虑较少;同时,在推出个人金融理财服务时,更多的也是从银行自身利益出发,从而做出种种不利于客户的限制政策,不能满足不同客户对象的需求。

(二)缺乏相对独立的业务运行系统

个人金融理财业务是体现“以客户为中心”理念、为客户提供一站式服务的一种新型综合性业务,因此它的顺利开展必须依赖于前后台业务的整合。而在目前国内商业银行的组织机构设置中,各个人金融理财业务工作通常归口于各个银行部,但由于个人金融理财业务涉及资产、负债和中间业务,而上述业务又分别由多个部门管理,导致前台业务条块分割。个人金融理财业务不能形成相对独立的业务系统,使商业银行无法为客户提供一站式服务。

(三)缺少客户信息平台的有效支持

由于理财业务是一项综合性的业务,它要求理财人员不仅必须全面了解个人银行业务的各项产品和功能,还应掌握证券、保险、房地产等相关知识。而金融分业经营使国内商业银行复型人才非常匮乏,一个对各项存款存期如何搭配非常精通的银行理财专家可能对股票债券以及各家保险公司的产品非常陌生。复合型理财人才的严重缺乏,制约了商业银行为客户提供全面的个性化金融理财服务。
