本文采用文献资料法、现场观察法、专家访谈法、问卷调查法和数理统计法等，对丹东市区初中体育课落实《体育与健康课程标准》中体操内容的情况进行了深入的研究。结果发现，丹东市区初中体育课落实《体育与健康课程标准》中体操内容的情况不容乐观。表现为体操内容设置量严重不足、体操场地器械陈旧匮乏、教师对《标准》认识不清、学校对设置体操内容工作重视不够等。针对丹东市区初初中体育课落实《体育与健康课程标准》中体操内容不容乐观的具体情况，本文提出了进一步提高认识、加大投入、大力支持、培养兴趣、改进教法手段等具体的改进措施。
