After watching "The Hobbit", I feel that computer graphics have really come a long way since even the days of "E.T.". The imagery in the movies were so realistic I could really believe that the dragon in the second movie was real, and that Gandalf really had powers. It was a fun trilogy, although lengthened a lot from the original book. The elves were beautiful, as expected, but something about Thuranduil the king was not as easy on the eyes as Legolas (Orlando Bloom). I liked the fact the trilogy focused on the struggles of the dwarves to reclaim their homeland, and the costumes were amazing as ever.
