破折号之前已经是个完整句子了，but whatever it is是个插入部分，不用看做句子的一部分。所以从make sure 开始，是一个完整的句子，后面跟了一个宾语从句（it's...到结束）。没有主语（其实是省略了主语）的情况下，就是一个祈使句嘛。
