This paper therefore analyses Chinese enterprises’ core competitiveness and the current state of company culture development in contemporary economic climate through dissecting enterprises’ core competitiveness and the essence, characteristics, functions of as well as their interrelations in the company culture in a dialectical analysis. It aims to discern the issues within them, and discuss ways of enhancing the core competitiveness of Chinese enterprises as well as methods and processes to build excellent company culture. It concludes with stating the responsibilities State and Chinese enterprises should shoulder in the process of raising the overall enterprise competitiveness, in order to offer advices and suggestions, and contribute to the founding of ‘hundred-year-old enterprises ’（或companies with long-lasting reputations)in China.
