What do you think is the most important thing in life? Some people think happiness is the most important. Some people think health is.  Some people think money is . Different people have different opinions about this.

Actually,  everything can be important in life. What’s the most important thing for us depends on what we need.

Money is often considered to be the most important thing in life. As we know,  people can’t live without money in modern society. I have heard of a story, which makes us think deeply.  Several people were traveling through the desert but unfortunately, they got lost on the half way. They didn’t know which direction to go to get out of the desert. They ate up their food and they had no water to drink at last. They became desperate. Just think about what was the most important thing for them then? Is money the most important thing for them? No, of course not, they could find nowhere to spend money in the desert. There was no doubt that water and food were the most important thing for them at that very moment.

Here is another example, Lily and Mark fell in love with each other when they were in the college. After working for a few years, they got married with nothing valuable in the house because both of them are from the poor families. However, Lily and Mark loved each other so much that they worked very hard to support their family. One year later, they had a lovely son. Lily felt she was the happiest woman in the world because she had such a beautiful baby and such a loving husband. Mark shouldered more responsibility and had more motivation to work harder for his family.

      After several years’ hard-working, Mark became one of the share-holder of his company, which brought more money to his family. As a result, Mark became busier and busier, seldom sparing time with his family. At that time, it was not necessary for Lily to go out to work. After she got tired of watching TV, going to Hair Salon, face Salon, fitness club, she often stayed at home alone, doing nothing. She couldn’t feel his husband’s love. She felt very lonely and sad every moment. She said to herself: “ How I wish I could go back to the days when we were working hard together to support our family even though we had little money.  So what was the most important thing for Lily? Love was what she needed most.

In a word, as human beings, we need a lot of things in life. The poor want to be rich just as the ugly want to be pretty.  You will be eager to go outside if you stay inside for long. Haven't you noticed those who jumped out of the terrible marrige, looking forward to a free single life? However, before long,  they found they couldn't stand living alone day after day, year after year. It turned out to be something like this they jumped into another marriage again very soon. Interesting! People always have "dreams" in their hearts.

So what you think important  must be what you need. Nothing can be the most important but one  matters more than another. That's it.
