Can worldly thoughts break the spirit of pure love?Jane Eyre is such a book that tells you the answer. And it is also my favorite book.
The heroine of the book,Jane, used to be an orphan. After escaping from the orphanage at the age of 18,she got a job from her empoyeer who was called Rochest and was a rich middle-aged man to be the teacher of his niece. She soon fell in love with Rochest who was very chivalrous and wise inside. But after knowing the man concealed the fact that he had been forced to marry a mad woman by his avaricious parents,Jane felt sad and left.During her long journey, she met a priest callled St.John who was crazy about his occupation. When the gentleman told Jane about his 'love' for her,Jane soon felt that Rochest was the one who gave her the true love.Though at that time,Rochest turned out to be poor and blind because of the destruction of his castle,Jane chose to be at his side.
From rich to poor, the couple knew that their spirit of pure love still remained and their sipiritual equality would never fade away. That is something precious for every lover. And the novel is also shining with such an idea. That is why it bees the masterpiece of my favorite .
