The SpringFestival is my most favorite festival, because it’s time for family gathering.And the Spring Festival is a new start of a year. It brings me hope andcourage. On Spring Festival, my parents usually take me back to my hometown. Myhometown is a small town. Many of my relatives move to the larger cities, butwe usually go home when the Spring Festival comes. During the gathering, weshare our lives with others and care about each other. Of course, big meals arenecessary. Families prepare for the big meals together. They all cook theirspecialty dishes. My favorite festival is Christmas Day.
It’s not the trditional for Chinese. It’s for the foreigners, which Christmas Day is to them what Spring Festival is us. But with the development of the society, more and more foreigners come to China. And then it is popular in China. I feel excited to see the Cristmas decoration and Christmas trees. I also like Santa Claus, who will give Christmas present for us under the table. And people will say ”Merry Cristmas” to each other on that day.
It is wonderful to have a foreign festival.

My favorite holiday is New Year. It is a very important festival in Chinese culture. In fact, it's the highlight of the year. Everyone returns home for a family reunion.We have a big feast and chat about all the things that have happened in our lives. People also visit each other. New Year is especially fun for kids. That's because we get presents and treats, including red envelopes filled with money. We also get to set off fireworks. But we never forget that this holiday is a time to give thanks. We feel grateful for our family and the things that we have. Finally, we think about the future and the great year ahead.

There are many festivals in a year, I love Children’s day, because on that day, I can have many candies from school.
