摘要】 依据新《英语新课程标准 》最新理念，在小学英语教学中，应适当地培养学生跨文化意识，体现外语教学的跨文化教育本质。本文通过调查中国学生学习英语的现状，指出文化教育对语言学习的重要性，同时，也存在文化干扰，阻碍了语言教学，并揭示了语言与文化密不可分的关系，分别呈现了文化干扰、文化教学对语言教学的重要性，重点分析了在小学英语教学中如何更好地培养跨文化意识的方法、途径。
