The bird Jingwei trying to fill the sea

Once upon a time, the youngest daughter of Emperor Yan,legendary ruler of primitive China, went boating on the Eastern Sea.While she was enjoying herself,a strong wind rose on the sea and her boat capsized.Just before she was buried by the surging waves, her spirit turned into a beautiful bird.As it flew over the roaring sea,it cried sadly in the sound "jinwei, jingwei".That was why people called it "Jingwei".

The bird lived on a mountain near the sea.It hated the sea so much that it decided to fill it up.Every day,it flew to and fro between the mountain and the sea, carrying in a twig or a pebble from the mountain and dropping it into the sea.

One day,the roaring sea said to Jingwei,"Poor little bird, stop doing that meaningless thing! You'll never fill me up." Jingwei replied,"I'll fill you up no doubt!I will, even if it'll take me thousands of years!I'll fight on until doomsday!"

The brave little bird kept carrying twigs and pebbles from the mountain to the Eastern Sea without taking a rest.

From this fable comes the idiom "The bird Jingwei trying to fill the sea".We use it to describe people who are firm and indomitable and will not stop until they reach their goal.

Chiyu Hae Sea
Once upon a time, there was a sea that was so vast and deep that its waves could sweep across entire villages. The villagers who lived near the sea were often at the mercy of its powerful currents.
One day, a little bird named Chiyu Hae appeared in the village. Chiyu Hae had a heart full of courage and determination. She had a dream to fill up the Haeye Sea and make the land safe for the villagers.
The villagers laughed at her and said it was impossible. But Chiyu Hae did not give up. She gathered small stones and pebbles from the mountains and carried them in her beak to the edge of the sea.
Day after day, she dropped the stones into the water and cried out "Haeye Sea, I will fill you with stones until you are dry!" The waves splashed over her, but she kept going.
The villagers were moved by her spirit and began to help her gather more stones. They understood that Chiyu Hae's dream was not impossible. With their combined efforts, they could make it happen.
Years passed, and Chiyu Hae never gave up. One day, the Haeye Sea was finally filled with stones and turned into a lush green land. The villagers were overjoyed and thankful for Chiyu Hae's unwavering courage and perseverance.
Chiyu Hae's story teaches us that with enough courage and determination, anything is possible. Let us follow in her footsteps and never give up on our dreams.
