Christmas Day is on December 25th. It is the most important festival in Britain and some other countries. People celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. On Christmas Eve ,people usually tell their children to put their stockings at the end of their beds before they go to sleep . Children belive Father Christmas will come during the night and fill their stockings with Christmas presents.
In fact, Father Christmas is children is father . When the children fall asleep,the father goes into children is bedrooms and puts small presents in their stockings
Christmas Day always begins before breakfast. Children wake up very early and can not wait to open the presents in their stockings. They wake up their parents and say "Merry Christmas!" After that , the family will usually have a delicious breakfast.
