Which art form is best?
Ok, I'm being deliberately provocative. I don't think it's a
competition. Perhaps I mean, what do you like about your preferred art
form? Or how does your art form speak to you more than the other art
forms? I'm talking anything you want to consider an art: the standards
(visual art, music, dance, writing, no matter what media or technology
is used), and also the nonstandard (physics, computer programming,
sport, etc).
But what I am hoping for is a discussion of the
comparative advantages of different art forms, as you see them. I hope
that some back and forth gets going, too. Kind of a journey of
exploration, so those of us who are less familiar with various other
forms can come to know them more intimately.
