　　How often 和how many times的区别如下：

1. how often意思是“多久一次，多常”，用来对动作在时间上所发生的频率提问，其提问部分或答语部分往往是always, usually，often，sometimes, hardly （ever），never 等频度副词或every day, every week等“every+时段”及once a week, three times a year等“词数+时段”的副词性短语。例如：

   ---How often do you watch TV? 你多久看一次电视？

   ---Every Saturday evening. 每星期六晚上。

2. how many times意思是“多少次”，用来询问动作发生的次数。其提问部分或答语部分往往是表示次数的once, twicey以及three times, ten times等“基数词+times"等结构。例如：

   ---How many times have you been to Beijing?你到过北京几次？

   ---Twice. 两次。
