Asthe proverb puts, book is the best companion. It is well-accepted that booksconstantly offer us a quiet and private space to communicate with some of the greatesthuman minds. However, when it comes to whether we should buy our own books toread or simply borrow books to read, different people hold different opinions.

 Some people hold the view that we ought to buyour own books because, in their view, the act of paying for the book shows our respectfor the author and the publisher. While others think that we should borrowbooks to save the resources for producing them. From my point of view, weshould take both ways of attaining books into consideration and choose the morereasonable one under specific circumstances.
