尽管exposed和being exposed都是具有“被动”意义的词语，但短语exposed to sth不具有名词短语性质，因而不能作为句子的主语。正是因此，需要把exposed to sth“名词化”，才成了being exposed to sth，如此就可以作句子主语了。exposed不能选的理由就是这样。
这里的being exposed to sth是动名词短语，具有名词短语的属性。
