How an English Language Learner in China Learns and Mislearns English?
Are you learning any English? If the answer is in the affirmative, you must be one of two kinds of learners: either you are a learner or a mislearner.
If for you English=English and you never use English to express your Chinese, you are a learner. If for you English=Chinese and you always turns English into Chinese, you are a mislearner.
When you speak English and you have to think Chinese, you have been a mislearner for long. When you write English and you have to think Chinese, again you have been a mislearner for long, too long.
If you want to be a learner instead of a mislearner, you have to think in English when hearing or reading English. Also, you have to think in English if you want to speak or write English.
The reason is very easy to understand: if you think in Chinese, you can only produce Chinese, but never English.
Good luck in your studies.
Do not learn English as Chinese or in the Chinese way.
