问一个定语从句的解析

问一下定从的下连接词where在这里是不是能省掉，因为定从里的宾语被省掉了,where应该充当宾语成分。但是实际上的宾语是food，也不是where啊，所以where也不做宾语不能省，为什么定从里的宾语food要省略掉呢？
