过去分词引导原因状语从句

请问过去分词可以引导壮语从句吗?例如下面句子中的looked at the graphs是壮语吗?
The scientist has frowned,looked at the graphs,and said,“The data are still inconclusive.
可是实际主语the scientist 是look的施动者，应该是looking啊？

过去分词当然可以作壮语,并且所有的非谓语动词都能作壮语.过去分词作状语如：Scolded by the teacher,the student felt so sad…你给的第一个句子是并列谓语,请注意and这个词的作用

looked at the graphs不是表伴随，而是表原因。因为look这个动作发生在过去，所以用了过去分词做原因状语，意为“科学家们一直皱着眉，看了下图表，说…”。如果用了looking，那后边的said也应该改为say才是，意为“科学家们一直皱着眉，边看图表边说…”
