1、用法不同

had done 是过去完成时。表示动作发生在过去的过去。通常句中有过去时间状语作参照。

例句：I had finished my homework before my father came back.

在我父亲回来之前，我已经完成了家庭作业。

had been done 则是过去的过去，是过去完成的被动态时。

例句：The rooms had been cleaned when I came. 

我来的时候，房间已经被打扫了。

2、含义不同

had done 做过

例句：What I did was right and if I had done anything 

less it would have been wrong.

我做的一切都是正确的，如果我少做了一点点，就会出错。

had been done 已经完成

例句：She knew it would be difficult to undo the damage that had been done 

她知道想要消除已经造成的损害是很难的。
