There is no denying that every student will face troubles or worries as they grow up. Recently a school has conducted a survey among the students, aiming at finding out whom the students will turn to when they are in trouble or sunk in worries. According to the result, 58% of the students say they won’t tell anybody they are in trouble. 33% of the students will turn to their parents and teachers for help. Only 9% of the students will communicate with their good friends.
I believe that the outcome of the survey has shocked the whole society, especially those who specialize in education and psychology. We have to acknowledge the fact that some psychological problems now exist in most students, since the majority choose not to tell anyone. Undoubtedly, the pressure and fierce competition have done harm to students, and it might get worse unless proper measures are taken.
Plus, I think that it’ll be a potential threat to the society, for the students’ character can hardly be well-built if they keep their worries deep in their mind. It’s essential for us to reduce some of the pressure from students and set more activities in order to unlock their hearts, because sharing one’s worries is sometimes the best remedy.
As is said above, we can’t deny the potential effects to the students as reflected from the survey. Helping students to open their hearts is definitely of significant importance.
