While I was there, I see a young boy of about 12 come into the store. The boy wanted to buy a geography book. Geography books paid one dollar each, but he had only 62 cents. I decided to follow him to see whether he could succeed. Four stores we entered, and four times he disappointed. Luckily at the five store he got an used book. Having learned why he wanted the book, and the bookseller gave him some writing papers and a new pencil as a gift.
