Vocabulary acquisition is the important content of business English study,but also a weak link.In order to correctly know business english vocabulary characteristics and master translation skills,This thesis attempts to analyse from two aspects:business english vocabulary characteristics and principles,and discussed how to improve translation skills so that the parties will not suffer losses for wrong translation,in hopes that it will be helpful to foreign trade jobs.

Word aquisition is an important and difficult part in business English learning. This paper aims to analyze the words used in business English from two aspects, namely, characteristics and principles, to help learners undertand those characteristics and further master the translation skills. It also discusses how to improve the translation skills so that the the losses resulted from the translation mistakes would be avoided. It is hoped that this paper would be of help to the foreign trade practices.
