什么是run-on sentence?

Obviously,theproblemofgreenhouseeffectisoneofthebiggestproblemsthathadmanybigconferen... Obviously, the problem of greenhouse effect is one of the biggest problems that had many big conferences between countries to discussed it today, the movie is just magnifying the effect of this problem in order to lead the reason of this clime disaster more believable.

Moreover, before the main catastrophe happened in THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW there are many small disasters appeared in the movie, like hail and cyclone which could be seen in the normal life, that let the story more closed to people’s experience and give the audience more soul shock than 2012.

In 2012, the communication between the people is not enough, the main action in this story is just run--- run on foot, run by car, run by plane and at last run by a huge ship.
请问这几句有什么问题,老师说我是run-on sentence。但我没看出具体的问题在哪,要怎么修改呢?

A run-on sentence is a sentence in which two or more independent clauses (that is, complete sentences) are joined without appropriate punctuation or conjunction. It is generally considered to be a grammatical error though it is occasionally used in literature and may be used as a rhetorical device. An example of a run-on is a comma splice, in which two independent clauses are joined with a comma without an accompanying coordinating conjunction.[1][2] Some grammarians exclude comma splices from the definition of a run-on sentence[3], though this does not imply that such usage is acceptable.

The mere fact that a sentence is long does not make it a run-on sentence; sentences are run-ons only when they contain more than one complete idea. A run-on sentence can be as short as four words—for instance: I drive she walks. In this case there are two complete ideas (independent clauses): two subjects paired with two (intransitive) verbs. So long as clauses are punctuated appropriately, a writer can assemble multiple independent clauses in a single sentence; in fact, a properly constructed sentence can be extended indefinitely.

简而言之,run-on sentence是指句子之间或独立子句之间句号省略而标点错误的句子。

说白了,就是在英语中不能用逗号连接两个句意及结构都完整的独立的句子。

该用句号的地方,你用的是逗号。
