Abstract:Sclerotiorum disease, which is a type of crop desease caused by Sclerotinia Sclerotiorum distributes all over the world. With the SX466 of Sclerotinia Sclerotiorum isolated from Shan xi province as researching objective in this paper, it is observed through analyses of the biological characteristics of isolate of SX466 that compared with the normal isolate Ep-1PNA367, isolate SX466 does not produce sclerotium on PDA and carrot nutrient medium, its growth rate(??cm) is reduced and vieulence degenerated, which makes isolate SX466 a hypovirulent strain with a typical phenomenon of hypovirulence. Via dsRNA extration of isolate SX466 and electrophoretic analysis, it is indicated that ?? dsRNA fragments is contained in this isolate and hypovirulence may have correlation with the existence of dsRNA. Valuable researching material and basis are provided for the research of pathogenic mechanism of Sclerotinia Sclerotiorum as well as the dsRNA-mediated hypovirulence in fungus by the completion of this paper.
