请教三个英语小问题。。。谢谢

1.what for 和 how come到底有什么差别呢？在从句里有什么限制么？
2。whomever 可以做从定语从句的主语么？ 好像只可以坐定语从句的宾语吧？
3。The expense of imported car is likely to be __such that__ not enough people will be able to afford it.(在这里such that 是什么意思呢？ 我觉得应该是 in that 呀。。such as、so that分别和他们有什么区别呢？)

1.what for 和 how come都是为什么的意思，两者用在句子的位置不一样
what for一定情况下可以与why互换
why did you go there? =what did you go there for?
一般what for要分开，放在句首和句末 ，而 how come只能单独用在一个句子中，在对话常用，例如：-You got an E in the exam. -how come?
2.whomever不能做定语从句的主语，是做定语从句的宾语，
做定语从句的主语是whoever 或者who
whomever除了可以做定语从句的宾语也可以是宾语从句的宾语
例如：I will not trust whomever they elect(选举）.

3.在这里such that 不是指in that 的意思“这一点上，既然，由于”.
The expense of imported car is likely to be __such that_(=_so expensive that)not enough people will be able to afford it.

such as是“例如”的意思=for example
so that是“所以，以至于”的意思
