This paper presents a taxi tariffs based on CPLD design of the system discussed in detail the system and the structure and design and implementation. Using VHDL language Taxi modular billing system, then the function of each module to program development tools from the EDA MAX-PLUS2 to connect and debugging, taxi billing system. In the system design using large-scale programmable logic device CPLD, the whole power consumption, anti-jamming capability, system is stable, reliable, easy to upgrade. The system is fully satisfied set the meter, time, billing, store, view, statistics and other measurement functions as one of the taxi meter and practical requirements.
