在同样的目录下，又建了一个jsp文件a.jsp
在里面输入代码

</body>
</html>
可是在浏览器里输入http://localhost:8080/asdf怎么出错了啊

你的<jsp: forward page="a.jsp"/>语句中，[jsp:] 和forward间有空格，修改为：<jsp:forward page="a.jsp"/>就可以了

index.jsp是默认的首页。不过，这个默认值也是在web.xml里面配置好的。你的web.xml里面，是不是没有配置<index-file>这个标签呀？
