Aiming at the problem that target-tracking request high real-time ,
this paper studies the RSR resampling algorithm and puts forward a
hardware implementation method of the improved particle filter .
Using the characteristics of of RSR resampling algorithm, this
method performs read and write operations for different addresses of
the FPGA particles stored in the dual port RAM at the same time .
Besides,we replaced pipelined execution with the
implementation plan fully parallel with the resampling stage in sampling stage
so as to improve the filtering efficiency.
Finally, in this paper, we implemented the improved filter
algorithm in the Altera cyclone2 devices.The hardware data
processing results show that, the fixed-point hardware
implementation can meet the needs of accuracy, and the improved
algorithm can work at the conditions 1-2 times higher than the
traditional hardware filtering speed.
