Clara: because the new year is to clean up and get rid of those bad things, and then you will have good luck in the new year.
Clara：因为过新年就是要清理并赶走那些不好东西，然后，你就会在新的一年里获得好运。
ben：哇，听起来很好玩！但是我相信那儿的四月是一年中最热的一个月。
Clara：是的，那是真的。但是那儿的泼水节是4月十三号到十五号。
Ben：我想知道这和云南省的傣族人的泼水节是否相似。
Clara：是的，我这样想。这是泰国新年的时间。人们走上街头互相泼水。
Ben：太酷了！但是他们为什么那样做?
Clara：因为新年是清除和洗掉坏事情的时间。然后你就会在新年里有好运。
