Devote a certain amount of time each day to cleaning your room.In general,you should clean up after yourself without letting too much time pass after you use it.If you clean up after yourself,you will not have to spend much time doing scheduled cleaning,but you will have to do some routine maintenance such as vacuuming.
Setup a command area where you do things such as pay bills or keep important papers.Try to keep this area organized.You will need to spend at least a few minutes a day addressing items and putting things away.Also,don't let your work spread out beyond the command center.You can use any area you want as a command center,but usually having a desk or flat area is helpful.
