本桥位于连霍国道主干线上,中心里程为DK168+933.56。该桥址处沟壑纵横,地势由西南向东北倾斜,自地面以下依次为角砾土和砾岩,地址状况良好。依据任务书要求,按时速80公里单向两车道高速公路桥设计,设计荷载为公路—Ⅰ级。
遵循“适用、经济、安全、美观”的设计原则,结合桥址处工程地质、设计技术标准等提出了两个比选方案。方案一为连续桥面预应力混凝土简支梁桥,方案二为预应力混凝土连续梁桥,桥跨布置均为6×20m。通过比选取方案一为设计方案。主梁为单箱单室,双柱式桥墩,肋板式桥台,基础均为钻孔灌注桩基础。拟采用预制拼装法施工。
