Last week our class had a parents’ meeting. At the meeting , all the parents talked about whether doing a lot of homework was useful or not. Most parents thought that doing much homwork was useful. They thought by doing a lot of homework, the students could review what they had learned. It would aslo help to develop the students’ minds and stop them playing computer games.
But a few parents thought that too much homework was useless. They thought doing much homework took a lot of time and the students could not have a good rest. What’s more, they could not do the things they liked.
In my opinion, doing enough but not too much homework is necessary and helpful.

上个礼拜我们班开了一次家长会。会上，家长们讨论了作业多是否有用。多数家长认为多做作业有用。他们认为多做作业能让学生复习所学到的，还有助于培养学生的思考能力，防止他们玩电脑。
但有几位家长认为做作业太多没有用。他们认为作业多占用的时间也多，学生得不到很好的休息。而且，他们没办法做自己喜欢的事。
我认为，足够的作业量但不要过多是必要而且有益的。

但也有少数家长认为太多功课是无用的。他们认为这样做功课采取了很多时间和学生不能好好休息。更重要的是，他们不能做的事情，他们很喜欢。
在我看来，做得不够，但不要太多功课是必要的和有益的。
