摘 要
WCDMA是第三代移动通信的主流技术，不同于传统的TDMA，WCDMA采用了自干扰的码分多址技术，其无线网络的覆盖、容量、服务质量等方面体现出自相关的特性，控制网络的干扰是保证网络的服务质量、提供网络覆盖和容量的关键。因此，相对于传统的第二代移动网络，WCDMA无线网络规划工作有其内在的特殊性、复杂性。WCDMA网络规划的复杂程度相对第二代无线网络大大增加，网络规划在网络前期准备工作中更为重要，它关系到未来网络的成本效益、性能和服务质量。 论文分为五章。第一章是绪论，主要用于认识WCDMA系统，介绍了WCDMA的系统特点和系统结构并对其关键技术做了一定的简介。第二章介绍了GSM与WCDMA的关系，比较了二者网络规划的不同，并对GSM向WCDMA的过渡进行了探讨。第三章是核心章节，集中阐述了WCDMA的网络规划的核心，无线网的规划，包括无线网络规划的原则、步骤、流程和覆盖规划、容量规划以及链路预算和干扰等相关的问题。第四章介绍了与无线网规划密不可分的核心网与传输网的规划。第五章主要介绍了WCDMA的网络优化方法，对网络优化所有做的准备工作和在优化中面临的问题及解决方法做了系统而概括的阐述。
