Disraeli was as wonderful a letter-writer as he was a novelist. His letters show that his capability to observe was matched only by his ability to describe, and they are made more lively by his overdeveloped sense of self-dramatization（戏剧化的自我表现）as well as by his permanent sense of the greatness of his own fate.
