As students of today have to pay much attention to our lessons and know little of society though it’s not our fault.A holiday is the best time to make up for that.Taking a part-time job is a good form of social practice.What is learned in books can’t have the same deep effect on us as what is learned through experience. In social practice,we can surely make progress in both knowledge and ability.Besides,taking a part-time job,we may get paid more or less to help our family.
Thus,I will say a senior school student should take a part-time job in holidays, if possible , of course.要采纳哦

Different people have different opinions about doing extra work in holidays. That's to say:There are advantages and disadvantages fro them.
For advantages:Students can earn pocket money. They needn't depend more on their parents. By doing extra work in holidays, they can not only earn extra money but also improve social skills, which can't be learned from their textbooks. In additon, they can leanr to solve problems. They learn how to be independent.
However, there are some disadvantages. They will get tired after they have done some extra work. They have no enough time to review their lessons. They will make their parents worry about them.
In my opinion, they can do a little work in holiday.

however, every coin has two sides. on one hand, working during holidays may benefit high school students a lot. firstly, they can earn some pocket money so that they can buy the thing they want . secondly, when they work, they will improve social skills which may help them to get along well with others now and evev in the future, lastly, they can learn to solve problems by themselves. On the other hand, working during holidays may be harmful to students. it will take them so much time that they have less time to rest and have less time to review lessons, As a result, their study grades will become poor. what's more, when they working outside, their parents may often worry about them.

　　I was told by the doctor that Johnsy had caught pneumonia. I was depressed about the news. I later told Berhman, the painter about the condition of Johnsy. After hearing the sad news, Berhman decided to encourage Johnsy not to give up on life. He then painted a leaf on the tree that was outside the sick room of Johnsy.
Everyday, Johnsy peeked outside the room and saw the leaf. She said that she will die on the day when the leaf whithers. However, everyday when she looked out of the window, the leaf was there. That triggered Johnsy to live on and recovered. I was pleased that Johnsy had overcame her pnuemonia and was also happy to hear that Berhman's painting of the leaf had made him famous.
(I hope I tell the story right, I had not read about the story but I heard about it in 职来职往， which a lady participant was shown a pig with wings and asked her to tell a story on it. The participant was creative enough to tell a bullshit story. I think she did well. However, one of the hiring company director wanted to show off, he related the pig with wings to the story of the last leaf.)
