很多人可能与朋友去玩或与家人旅行。不过，英国的孩子有些不同的想法。
在英国，很流行去名胜一天游，包括参观旧城堡、剧院和体育场馆。当我14岁时，我曾参观过老特拉福德球场 - 曼联足球队的主场。它能容纳75,000人，但几乎总是座无虚设。我坐在球队经理的座位，假装喊出来的指令。

Do you have any plans for the coming summer holiday?
Many of you may have fun with friends or travel with family. But British kids have some different ideas.
In Britain, it is popular to go on one-day trips to famous places, including old castles, theaters and sport stadiums. When I was 14, I visited Old Trafford, the soccer stadium of Manchester United. It holds 75,000 people and is almost always full. I sat in the manager’s seat and pretended to shout out orders.
Family holidays are also common. A popular holiday is at the seaside. Kids make sandcastles on the warm beaches. They can also take donkey rides along the seaside.
Some kids also choose to help parents with the housework. I used to help my dad with the garden work: cutting the grass and watering trees. And I earned my first “wage” as a result of all my help. Whatever you do, make many memories this summer!
