contain普通用词，所涉及的物体常常是其组成部分或内容。强调包容关系。既可指具体有形的东西，也可指抽象无形的东西。
include普通用词，指一整体包含着各独立的部分，也指某东西包含另一东西的某一部分。
contain
1. 包含，包括，含有，装有；由…组成：The bowl contained a variety of fruit.这个碗里盛着各种各样的水果。
2. 容纳，能装：The bottle contains 500 millilitres.这个瓶子能装500毫升。
include
1. （英文解释）If one thing includes another thing, it has the other thing as one of its parts.
包括
例：The trip has been extended to include a few other events.行程已经延长以包括其他几项活动。
2. （英文解释）If someone or something is includedin a large group, system, or area, they become a part of it or are considered a part of it.
把…列为一部分
例：I had worked hard to be included in a project like this.为了成为这样的项目的一分子，我过去一直埋头苦干。
contain和include的区分是一个重难点，有时候很难把握，所以平时可以找些相关习题对应练习。而且什么时候用contianed什么时候用containing或其他形式也是常考点。
