Our testing center’s Varian 240 GC/MS/MS gaseous mass spectrum instrument can utilize the different retention time and the different mass spectrum fragment peaks produced by different substances on the MS detector to conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses; and the results are achieved more accurately through the elimination of background interference by secondary MS analyses and the lowering of detection limits. In addition, the GC/MS/MS instrument can also accomplish the testing of other banned substances such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon, polychlorinated biphenyl, azo compounds and phthalate ester plasticizer.
