在我们生活的浪漫之城——珠海。自1980年成为中国的经济特区以来，急速发展的珠海在2013年中国城市可持续发展指数报告中排名第一。今年11月份成功举办的航展，也见证了珠海的飞速发展。经济的发展让人们的生活有了翻天覆地的变化，更加繁华的街道，琳琅满目的各类商品让我们目眩神迷。但在我们享受着城市发展带来的快捷和便利的同时，是否也注视到了与这个美丽繁华城市格格不入的场景呢？漫天飞舞的纸屑、街道上难以清扫的口香糖、原本白净的墙上被乱涂乱贴。难道对于身边这些不文明现象，我们还能坐视不理吗？勿以恶小而为之，勿以善小而不为。
在文明城市的建设中，我们又能做些什么呢？我认为创建全国文明城市不是政府的政绩工程、形象工程，而是全民积极参与，群策群力共同构建才能完成的民心工程。所以我们最需要的是积极响应政府的号召，从生活中的点点滴滴做起比如说，如果你每天都弯腰去拣地上的一张纸，那么你走过的路就会多一份清洁；如果你每天少用一个塑料袋，就会少一点白色污染；如果你在白天随手把家里的电灯熄灭，就会少浪费一点能源；如果你拒绝使用一次性的筷子，一次性纸杯，就会对绿色的森林多一点爱护。一个人做起来或许会觉得微不足道，但是每个人都这样做，众人拾柴火焰高。我们每个人迈出一小步，就会使社会迈出一大步。
