我现在已是一个初二学生了。记得刚上初二时，心里很紧张，生怕老班是一个非常严肃的老师。当我走进教室一看后，原来并不是我想像的那样。
老班是一个40多岁的中年人，他显得很和蔼，头发乌黑，但在不显眼处也有根根银丝；中等身材，看起来很健康。老班总是穿着那件褐色上衣，黑色长裤，灰色波鞋。他似乎只有两三套衣服，总是这几套衣服轮换坐庄。也许是他节俭，也许是他朴素，也许是他无所谓。
有时老班像个孩子。他上课经常讲些题外话，和我们可谓无话不谈。不过，老师的脸就像春天一样忽晴忽暗，说变就变。一次上学期期中考试过后，我班考得实在太糟了，老班发了很大的火。我第一次看见老班发这么大的火，心里还有点怪怪的。后来我想想也是，谁怪我们不争气呢，
有时老班像个家庭主妇。因为教学楼在老师公寓斜对面，直线距离不足100米。我们经常看见老班像个“保姆”似的，天天不是拖地板、晾衣服、晒鞋子，就是去菜园里劳动。老班不仅天天要教我们上课，还要忙这忙那，真是太辛苦了。是啊，天下哪个老师不是一生勤劳呢，

On 31st August， was a day like any other schooldays， except that the teachers， instead of being bogged down by assignments were
