区别：

1、live in表示住在... .其后面跟表示地点的名词。住在学习工作的地方；住在（某地）。例句：I just live in hope that one day she'll talk to me. 我只是妄想着有一天她会和我说话。

2、live on表示继续活着；继续存在；住在…上;以…为食。例句：I know my life has been cut short by this terrible virus but Daniel will live on after me.我知道这种可怕的病毒会让我的生命提前结束，但丹尼尔会在我死后继续活下去。
