这题选C。 D语法没错,但逻辑上有问题: being late是一个泛指的概念,后面却用在了特例上(dismissing her), 所以逻辑上出了问题。
你可以比较下这两句:
Being a few minutes late is no reason for dismissing an employee.
Her being a few minutes late is no reason for dismissing her.
这样前后就匹配了泛指对泛指,特例对特例。

Being a few minutes late is no big deal. ;)
