1、美国独立日：
Independence Day is the national holiday of the United States of America commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On this day independence was claimed from Britain and Democracy was born. This day calls for parades, fireworks, wishes and celebrations.
独立日(Independence Day，又称Fourth of July、4th of July或July Fourth)是美国的主要法定节日之一，日期为每年7月4日，以纪念1776年7月4日大陆会议在费城正式通过《独立宣言》。《独立宣言》由托马斯·杰弗逊起草，1776年7月4日经大陆会议专门委员会修改后通过，并由大陆会议主席约翰·汉考克签字生效。《独立宣言》开宗明义地阐明，一切人生而平等，具有追求幸福与自由的天赋权利。
2、加拿大日：
Canada Day is the national day of Canada, a federal statutory holiday celebrating the anniversary of the July 1, 1867, enactment of the British North America Act, 1867 , which united three colonies into a single country called Canada within the British Empire. Originally called Dominion Day , the holiday was renamed in 1982, the year the Canada Act was passed.
加拿大日是加拿大的国庆日，作为一个联邦合法假日首次在1867年七月一日被庆祝。1867年英属北美法案被颁布，该法案将原有的三个英属殖民地合并为一个统一的英帝国内的加拿大。开始的时候被称为加拿大自治纪念日，在1982年加拿大法案通过后改名为加拿大日。
