1.强调在送礼物之前，我一直在想什么时候人们会对我好一点儿。在收到这个礼物的时候，已经表示有人对我好了，所以前半句用一般过去时，在收到礼物后这个动作结束。C不能表达这种意境，只能简单的表示过去我想过这个问题。
2.now 和现在完成时搭配表示现在已经怎样了，而不局限于跟现在进行时搭配强调正在进行的动作。而且gain是非延续性动词，更不能说gaining正在得到什么。只有延续性动词才能用ing形式。
3.根据前半句，the speech 已经完成了，后面问看法的时候针对的是那时的演讲，回答时只针对的是过去的事实，而且不需要用现在完成时强调对现在产生了什么后果，所以只用一般过去时就可以。
4.后半句完整的应该是than their parents lived the life several years ago.因为前半句已经有了living所以用did避免重复。ago 限制了只能用一般过去时。
5.选D. for 加时间段一般与完成时连用，表示已经怎样多长时间了。此句中用现在完成进行时，表示在已经进行了2小时的情况下还没有停止而有继续下去的可能。选c表示正在进行某个动作，用在本句中是相当不合适地，同时也不能表达想表达的意思！

Ps:英语中很多时候用动词不同的时态就可以表达不同的感情和不同的意思，而不需要额外的修饰或限定，要好好体会哟！

选D，如果选C的话就是说他们现在还在进行讨论，可是他们说“真是累坏了”，看情景就是说他们刚讨论完一件事情，讨论了几乎两个小时，所以累坏了。用D是是现在完成时，就是说“过去一直进行的事情对现在所造成的影响。”之所以用ing是要强调一个“一直”在做的这种状况！

2 其实用不用完成时完全靠情景的把握，这里的now大概是until now的意思

3 我觉得A、D都行，A陈述了一个事实，D则强调具体的一次活动

4 这句话倒装了，还原应为 Young people today are living a much more comfatable life than their parents did several years ago. 不应完全按照对称原则，因为这句话实际是their parents lived a life several years ago

5 have been having 强调一个过程，因后有for 2 hours，我认为选D
